Cute Friendship : Mia & Lucy The Dog

Little girl becomes best friends with the dog she wanted

Animalshine -  Anna felt the happiness of her life was complete. He loves photography and can express it, then marries his dear man. She gives birth to a beautiful daughter, Mia, and adopts another child, Lucy. The most beautiful thing for a woman to live in San Antonio, Texas, this is when she saw Mia and Lucy sleeping together, and woke up the next day together. Both are wonderful life spirits for Anna every day.

In a post shared on the Love What Matters Facebook page, Anna Angenend shared how her daughter went from begging for a puppy, to wanting to return it, to the two of them becoming best friends. It’s a story anyone who has adopted an animal can relate to.

When Angenend believed the time was finally right, her family adopted a dog from San Antonio Pets Alive!, a “life-saving organization” in Texas that saves animals listed for euthanasia at a local shelter.
For Mia, it was love at first sight. She fell in love with an adorable puppy named Lucy.
But once the family took the puppy home, they realized it wasn’t going to be easy.
“I wish I could say that the first months together were all cuddles and rainbows, but it didn’t go quite that smoothly,” the photographer wrote.
Angenend told POPSUGAR that Lucy enjoyed chewing “EVERYTHING,” which became a problem for Mia when the puppy chewed one of the little girl’s toys.
“Lucy thought puppy pads were there for her to shred, carpet was to pee on, and harnesses were dog treats,” Angenend wrote on Facebook. “There was a learning curve for all of us. I used to laugh it off when people said ‘Having a puppy is just like having a newborn’, but now that I have had both, I am here to tell you that getting up at all hours of the night to take the dog out feels a LOT like having a newborn.”

Angenend told POPSUGAR that adopting Lucy changed her—and she doesn’t mind one bit, because the happiness and memories outweigh any possible negatives.
Now the family can’t imagine their lives without Lucy. Although it was tough at the beginning, she has become a member of the family.
“Mia doesn’t have a sibling (yet), so Lucy is her constant playmate, cuddle bug, and her go-to gal pal to get into trouble with,” Angenend told POPSUGAR.
